Summer!
Doesn't the word 'summer' sound so beautiful right now? No school, warm days, water fights, having friends over more, going to parks...I LOVE the feeling of it! Of course...we have to wait a while, but still. Phoenix and I like going to a huge (and I mean HUGE) park near us with lots of forests and trails. There's a pine forest that we especially like. The pines are in perfect rows, the sun filters through...it's like something from a book. If you've read the book Eldest, by Christopher Paolini, the forest reminds you of the elven halls described. Anyhoo....SUMMER IS COMING!!!!!!!!!!!

Sledding
My dad took me, my sister, and a friend to the sledding hill at the park a few days ago. Phoenix was the friend, and Mr. Lego. Guy should know which hill I'm talking about, because I've seen him there. Anyhoo, Phoenix brought her sled and we went down together a whole bunch of times. I think the sled was made to go backwards, because we kept twirling around backward and wiping out! It was so fun...until we wiped out and got snow all over out faces...but oh well. We tried again and again and wiped out again and again! Finally we tried my sled, and we were OK the first two times...and then we wiped out. LOL! Anyway, it was a blast!

Snowboarding!
Since everybosy loves hearing about ME...:o) I did something cool the other day. My dad and I were shoveling snow in the driveway, and I got out our sled. There is a drift in our side yard about four feet high, that is iced over completely undernath about an inch of powdery snow. So, I took the sled and stood on it like a skateboard/snowboard and went down the hill. It took a while, and I have a bruised hip to prove my 'talents', but I finally suceeded in staying balanced on it until the bottom. Then there was a pile of snow that we had shoveled near the end of the driveway that was about five and a half feet tall, and really steep, so I went down that one too on the sled, and after three tries, I did it! Whoopee! Now I have to practice going down a real sledding hill like that....yipes.
Note: You amazing athletic people are probably going, 'Wow, big accomplishment! She slid down a whole FIVE FOOT pile of snow!'! But actually, this is very good for me, because I have never moved more than a foot on a skaetboard or snowboard for the matter, my entire life.

Book Review-Warriors series
Have you not figured it out that I am a total warriors fanatic? Anyhoo, the whole series is about clans of cats that live in the wild, hunting and fighting for every scrap of food and territory. In the first book-Into the Wild- Rusty is a kittypet(housecat) living on the edge of clan territory. It seems he would be satisfied, he has a warm house on cold nights, food, toys to play with, and friends next door. But he wants more. Rusty comes in contact with a clan cat called Graypaw, and is befriended by this bouncy apprentice. Graypaw tells him of the clans, and soon Rusty is allowed to join and see if he is cut out for warrior life. But when murder and betrayal is buried deep in the heart of ThunderClan, Rusty and Graypaw must root it out before it poisons all they hold dear.
Thrilling, isn't it! Read the books, everything I said is true!
